Identifly (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and to handling the limited information we process responsibly and in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• A randomly generated, anonymous session identifier stored in a cookie, used to remember your progress during your visit.
• If you choose to receive correspondence, the email address you enter. We do not require your real name, postal address or any other personal identifier.
• Basic technical information necessary to serve the site, such as the pages you request.

2. How we use your information

We use this information solely to provide the service you requested, to deliver the messages you ask us to send, and to protect the service against misuse. We do not build advertising profiles.

3. Email correspondence

We send email only to an address entered on one of our forms, and only about the submission it was entered on. Because anyone can type any address into a form, the first message we send to an address is a one-off verification notice asking whether its holder wishes to hear from us. Nothing further is sent until that notice is confirmed. If you receive one and did not enter your address here, you need do nothing at all: without confirmation we will not write to you again.

4. Data retention

We retain application and session data for a maximum of 7 days, after which it is automatically and permanently deleted. Data may be retained beyond this period only where strictly necessary to investigate or prevent abuse, fraud or security incidents, and only for as long as that purpose requires. We also keep a record of which addresses have confirmed that they wish to receive correspondence, so that we do not ask the same person twice.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We disclose information only where required by law or where necessary to protect the rights, safety and security of the service and its users.

6. Cookies

We use a single strictly-necessary cookie to maintain your session. Any optional analytics cookies are used only with your consent and may be declined without affecting core functionality.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct or request erasure of your data. Because most data is deleted automatically within 7 days, the simplest way to exercise these rights is to discontinue use and allow the retention period to elapse.
