Identifly — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Identifly (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction and that your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

3. Description of the Service

The Service provides an interactive workflow through which users may complete a sequence of forms and receive reference numbers. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time without notice.

4. Accounts, Sessions and Credentials

The Service assigns you an anonymous session. Where the Service offers account registration, you may create an account secured by an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account or session. You must notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised use. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorised access; interfering with or disrupting the Service; probing, scanning or testing the vulnerability of any system; transmitting malicious code; or using the Service to harass, defraud or harm any person.

6. Rate Limits and Fair Use

We may impose reasonable limits on your use of the Service, including limits on the number of requests per period, in order to protect shared infrastructure and ensure availability for all users.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, designs and software associated with the Service are and remain the property of their respective owners. No right or licence is granted to you except as expressly set out in these Terms.

8. User Submissions

You retain such rights as you may have in information you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that information solely for the purpose of operating the Service as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may reference or link to other services. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party, and your dealings with them are solely between you and that third party.

10. Fees

Any fees, charges, waivers or refunds referenced within the Service are administrative constructs only. No payment is collected and no payment details are requested. You will never be charged.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Identifly be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Identifly from any claim or demand arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

14. Modifications to the Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including where we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that place.

17. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

18. Miscellaneous

Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. Headings are for convenience only. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent.

19. Nature of the Service and Full Disclosure

The following disclosure forms an operative part of these Terms and governs how the Service is to be understood.

This is a game. The Service and its sibling brands (SealBox, GetVerified and Identifly) together form a single satirical, interactive experience — a work of parody inspired by the bureaucratic labyrinth of Asterix's “The Place That Sends You Mad” (Passierschein A38).

  • No real accounts, identities, permits, certifications or legal instruments are created, and nothing issued here has any legal, evidentiary or official value.
  • No fee is ever charged and no payment details are ever requested; any “fees”, “payments” or “refunds” are fictional bookkeeping entries.
  • The Service is not affiliated with any government, agency, library, parking authority, radio body, certification board or any real organisation the brand names may evoke.
  • Emails are sent only to an address you provide yourself, are one-off transactional messages relating to your session, and are never used for marketing or list-building.
  • The SealBox timestamping endpoint performs a genuine HMAC-SHA-256 computation for demonstration purposes only, with no guarantee of availability and no legal standing.
